Luce, the Neglected Child

The low lands are covered with mist; a larger figure rises and goes its way without leaving the ground, it is a cloud. Yesterday, a kid cried in the street to Marie-Jeanne: "I know, go, that you have slept with soldiers!" The two sisters confess therefore Aytré and Carois: there they are, seated on the terrace, who look at the country, the fog. Yvonne: "Oh me, I am not cousin of the rainbow.
Carois. — But how many friends do you have, great friends?
— Marie-Jeanne is the best, we may be sisters. I have another who lives in America: it is she who wants to make me enter the theater.
