Gabriel Bounoure

Jean Henri Gabriel Bounoure, born May 12, 1886 in Issoire in Puy-de-Dôme and died April 23, 1969 in Lesconil, is a French writer. He remains one of the most notable intermediaries between oriental poetry and French literature. Salah Stétié defined him as being “one of those extraordinarily loose spirits, one of those lively sensibilities, made of limpidity and obscure reserve, to which many owe their fascinated approach to the poem.”
