
Léon Pierre-Quint
Léon Pierre-Quint, real name Léopold Léon Steindecker (born September 7, 1895 and died July 21, 1958) is an influential French writer, editor and literary critic of the first half of the 20th century.
Director of Éditions du Sagittaire for more than twenty years, he helped launch the surrealist movement. He was also the friend of Proust and Gide, to whom he devoted articles and works which are still referenced..
