Léon Bopp

Léon Bopp, born in 1896 in La Chaux-de-Fonds and died in 1977 in Grange-Canal (commune of Chêne-Bougeries), is a Swiss writer and philosopher. The contacts he made in Paris with Jean Paulhan and Albert Thibaudet allowed him to publish his first texts in the Nouvelle Revue française. He spent the rest of his life writing various texts, ranging from novels to political essays, including literary criticism texts. Liaisons du monde constitutes his best-known romantic work.
